If you use bottled liquefied petroleum gas, be aware that it is possible to receive a subsidy to fill cylinders of up to 10 kg from the Government of Argentina.
The number of bottles available varies depending on the number of family members, location and time of year.
How does the Hogar program subsidy work?
The Hogar Program, also known as the “Home Program Subsidy,” is an Argentine government initiative that aims to provide subsidies to help low-income families pay their utility bills, such as natural gas.
The main objective is to alleviate the economic impact of spending on essential services on the most vulnerable families.
In short, the program is aimed at low-income families that meet certain eligibility criteria set by the government.
In it, eligible families receive a monthly subsidy applied directly to their natural gas bills. This helps reduce the cost of service.
To access the benefit, these families can register for the Hogar Program through government-designated channels, which generally include government agencies or online platforms.
Among the most important factors of the program, we find the updating of data.
It is very important to keep your personal and financial information up to date with the program, as changes in your circumstances may affect your eligibility or the amount of your housing subsidy from the program.
In addition, the government periodically conducts monitoring to ensure that eligible families still meet the eligibility criteria.
