The Potenciar Trabajo program was launched by the government in 2020 with the aim of promoting the social and productive inclusion of people in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability. The program offers monthly financial assistance and technical training for informal workers, unemployed, youth, the elderly, and people with disabilities, among other groups at risk of social exclusion.
Potenciar Trabajo also seeks to boost the local economy by promoting community work and developing social projects. The program is implemented throughout Argentina in partnership with civil society organizations and local government entities.
With Potenciar Trabajo, the aim is to reduce poverty and social inequality in the country, strengthen social protection networks and stimulate job creation and entrepreneurship.
